SleepOver KMIA

Hotel comodissimo a 1 min a piedi dall’uscita dall’aeroporto. Basico, ma con tutto il necessario per una notte (nel nostro caso). Letto ampio e comodo, stanza pulitissima e super profumata. Pace e tranquillità assolute. Il personale accogliente, check in velocissimo. Non dispone di ristorante, quindi nel nostro caso abbiamo comprato del take away all’aeroporto di Johannesburg per la cena. In loco sono disponibili dei sandwich che il personale provvede a riscaldare all’istante, e vari snack. Per la colazione siamo andati direttamente al bar dell’aeroporto e ce la siamo goduta dal terrazzino panoramico. Consigliatissimo!

La proximité de l’aéroport, le personnel au top et d’une grande gentillesse, le fait de pouvoir manger sur place malgré l’absence de restaurant (il est possible d’acheter des plats surgelés à la réception qui sont décongelés et réchauffés sur place, et amenés avec des couverts à table), les mignons petits chats. Mention spéciale pour le thé et le café dans la chambre.

Nous avons eu un peu froid dans la chambre.

Perfect only if you really need to spend one night in proximity of KMIA. The room is good value for money.

There is nobody at the reception between 7pm and 7am making it difficult to check-in and check-out. They have something to eat at the reception but very little and everything at the airport is closed between 7pm and 7am so I ended up without dinner and breakfast. The staff certainly doesn't go the extra mile to help you.

Walking distance from airport. If you see someone off on a late flight or leave early the next day this is a perfect option not to travel at night or travel far when already tired - so thank you. After a few days in the Kruger Park this was a nice way to end our trip. The view, the sunset, the monkeys and a few Impala's just completed the picture.

Suggestion: Maybe add screen to bathroom window for at least one window to be opened and safe from the monkeys visiting.
