Hluhluwe Bush Camp

Brilliant secluded location yet close enough to be able to drive to Hluhluwe game reserve in around 30 minutes. The 2.5km walk around the property viewing the local buck species was an added bonus. The accommodation in the luxury tent was spotless and the meals cooked at the farm stall were of an incredibly high standard and very reasonably priced! Best fillet steak we’ve had for ages. The staff were great and went a long way to making our stay a very memorable one! Highly recommend.

Cosy, comfortable luxury tent. Bathroom nice. Kitchen well equipped. We had hard rain & tent didn't leak at all.

Shower was a bit of a challenge...gas heater kept going out.

Very peaceful and the tent had everything that we needed. Even some things we forgot like salt and pepper. It was clean and very cosy. Loved it.

The entire setup at Hluhluwe Bush Camp is really nice and comfortable. The farm stall is very cute and well equipped with your every need. There is also a hike you can do in the wildlife section of the property. The porch and braai area has a nice view with antelope in the distance and birds coming to feed around the camp. All staff were friendly.

The Bush Camp is equipped with everything you need, although we found that there isn’t much space to store suitcases in the main bedroom except for putting them under the bed. This is a minor inconvenience and we had bigger than usual suitcases.

It is a wonderful idea and perfect spot for those who don’t love camping but still want to feel like you are.

The tents unfortunately are just too close to one another and so you are able to hear others around you and depending on how the wind blows even snoring of the people in the tent next to you 😳

The food was amazing. Large portions. Spacious living and outside area. Comfortable bed. Everything you need if self catering. Braai packs and meals can be bought on site too. Lovely walk on the property.

The location and placing of the units just perfect. We stayed additional nights and the teams was happy to accommodate us. Our tent was cleaned everyday, towels was changed and a we had hot water.

I would have like to see a bigger fridge/freezer unit for the tent but beyond that no issues.
