Beautiful farm, tranquil accommodation surrounded by nature, hot tub, friendly staff

Communication was good and access easy. Staff we met were pleasant and helpful The beds were very comfortable and the setting beautiful. The tent was spotless and spacious. Swimming in the dam a highlight

Parking and access to tent 9 was difficult (I forgot to mention our age so not easily accessible for mobility impaired...this should be part of information when booking) Quite smelly due to rotting prickly pears.( I realise its in the bush) Braai tongs were falling apart. (We tried to get another pair only to find they were also useless) No complimentary soap or shampoo in the bathroom nor place to put your toiletry bag ( a small table in the bathroom would be a great help for the ladies). No mirrors in the bedrooms (small item I know but a lady needs a mirror and so simple to rectify) The ice compartment in the fridge was frozen over as the door to the freezer had been left open. The freezer needs to be defrosted and an ice tray made available...so no ice for our drinks! It was hot and ice was needed... I know this is the bush but we were glamping here!

We were told at 14 30 in the afternoon to turn our music down, which was playing from my cell phone, which we did straight away, then our neighbors were shouting and screaming until 2 am the next morning and nobody came to tell them to be quiet I will never book again at africamps

Sensationell und auch für Nichtcamper (wie uns) eigentlich ein Muss für einen längeren Aufenthalt zwischen Winelands und Kleiner Karoo. Mal was anderes. Herrlich gelegen, Wanderwege (Trittfestigkeit vorausgesetzt), Kanu, Schwimmen im See, Hot tub in jedem Zelt. Breakfast baskets und Braai (Grill) baskets vorab bestellen und geniessen - perfekt! Nudeln etc. im kleinen Shop erhältlich wenn man mal vegetarisch essen möchte. Craigan ist ein hilfsbereiter, humorvoller Verwalter. Für uns war dies ein in dieser Form nicht erwartetes Highlight unserer Südafrika Reise. Wir wollen wiederkommen.

Man kommt auch mit einem Suzuki Swift zu den Tents 7 - 10 und kann diesen Leihwagen unbeschadet wieder abgeben , aber eine Sanierung der Zuwegung im oberen Bereich der Anlage ist wünschenswert

Felt mislead in the quantity of the breakfast and braai basket

The setting and views from the tents are exceptional. The hot tub is great on the stoep with the braai, so one can enjoy the views and enjoy a braai with the family. The wood was just a little bit problematic, so it took about 4 hours to get the hot tub warm. My sons enjoyed fishing in the dams and the hiking trail was beautiful. We will definitely visit again!
