Mount Vernon Camping Resort 16 ft. Yurt 6

Location near Bellingham as well as near the coast. Loved Bow-Edison-BreadFarm, the cheese monger and dairy! Hikes to Fragrant Lake, Oyster Dome! Dog friendly and everyone who had dogs was respectful and polite. Yurt was very clean, water tap and electricity available. Fan and heater were both helpful. Gas station and good coffee at the exit from interstate.

Outside trash near restrooms was not emptied daily and it was very over full when 15 people tent-camped adjacent to us for several days. They left cardboard, plastic buckets, masses of water bottles and soda can (10 teenagers and 5 adults?). Nowhere to discard dog poop sadly. Bathrooms were cleaned but still clumps of hair were left in shower drain and adjacent area for more two days. I cleaned some myself. Then I spoke to staff who did immediately cheerfully clean the shower area. Toilets and sink. were kept clean though. Had to ask staff to repair picnic bench which was broken by same large group. The following large group (4 very large tents) did not overfill trash. Cell service was not great, not even for web data use and phone service. Lodge wireless was weak-best near store.

No where on the Booking.com site say that they do not supply bedding! Show up at 9 at night, and no bedding. The person at the front desk did give us a linen bag, but we had to drive back all the way to the office to get it. If they had told us on the site, we would have brought our own. Also, gave us one set, when there were clearly two beds in the room.

It was exactly what we thought it would be, room wise.

We were told that the restroom was right next to the yert. We are 65+ women, the restroom was an uneven surface about a football field away. We cancelled and didn't stay. We were refunded fully. The staff was relatively pleasant, however, the refund did take some effort on our part.

it is highly family friendly! loved that they had activities for the kiddos even the adults (adult pool party) It was our first time there and we will definitely go again, looking into signing up for a membership for their annual camping pass. The pool was the kiddos favorite!

We had trouble with finding our car insurance paperwork but we were able to call our insurance to provide that information. (first time being asked to show proof of car insurance)

The furniture was awesome!

it was very hot inside and we had tents out side our back door with a dog. We had to walk around to get to the bathrooms.
