Our stay at Soetvlei Tented Camp was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful setting and the feeling of being completely immersed in nature—without sacrificing comfort. The tents are beautifully designed and thoughtfully equipped, offering a perfect balance between luxury and an authentic bush experience. Waking up to the sounds of birds and enjoying coffee while overlooking the tranquil landscape was a highlight of our stay. Eonora and Wayne were warm, welcoming, and attentive, always ready to assist while still giving us space to relax and unwind. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. One of the things we loved most was the sense of calm and privacy. It’s the ideal escape from busy city life—perfect for couples, families, or anyone looking to recharge in a serene environment. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already planning our return. We would highly recommend Soetvlei Tented Camp to anyone looking for a unique and peaceful getaway in nature.

One downside for us was the dirt road leading to the camp. It’s quite rough in places and not really suited for a normal car, althoughwe used a normal car. An SUV or bakkie would definitely be better equipped to handle the terrain. While we understand that the remote location is part of the charm, the drive in and out was a bit stressful with a regular car. It’s something future guests should keep in mind when planning their trip.

unit below wasn't very private, top units kept on looking down on us, and keeping quite wasn't happening from them till after 2 am on the Friday, and then on Saturday we couldn't go another night so late, but was quickly sorted out by owner.

It was my second time visiting the place. Its a phenomenal place to visit.
