"Fantastic experience"

10.0

Great value for money, amazing place with snorkelling spot right outside the bungalow (currents can be strong, wear life jacket if you are not a strong swimmer). You can find turtles and corals, plus Jemeluk Bay is only a short walk by the beach. Sunset view was awesome with Mount Agung as background. At night you can see so many stars on the skies. Super friendly staffs, although I was a solo female traveller, I felt welcomed and safe. I received plenty of tips on places to see and when to swim. Peaceful and quaint as I got the bungalow tucked away from the ocean view. I was visited by a family of cats in my bathroom, that was cute. The bathroom had pebble stones as flooring with balinese vibe, it was lovely. I wanted a quaint getaway and this was absolutely perfect so if you are into active night life scenes, this may not be suitable for you as the atmosphere here is very laid back and it gets super quiet by 8pm or 9pm here. Breakfast was yummy, fruit juices were fresh and they even deliver food to your doorstep. They offer in house massages (in room or sunbed) and drivers for trips to various places in Bali. Snorkelling gears, fins and jackets are very affordable. Overall loved my stay here and will return.

Roads outside of the bungalows are not walk friendly. A short walk to nearby shop or warung will expose you to narrow roads under construction, dust and potholes. I even had wet tar stuck to my shoes and had to throw it away. Suggest to wear shoes and not sandals if you insist to walk as there are many small rocks on road. Scooters are the best option. I do not know how to ride one so had to rely on my local tour guide to bring me to most places. Do note that at night, street lights hardly exist and only car or scooter lights illuminate the paths.

"Fantastic snorkelling"

9.0

It was a great location. We spent most of our time snorkelling just off the bungalows. There were several turtles and sea snakes, especially offshore from the purple door. We had a 2 year old that loved the pool. There were some places to eat by walking up and down the beach.

I didn't realize I had to pay cash until the end, and it was a really long walk along a busy, hot road to find an ATM (it took me 25 minutes each way). Also, we had asked for a cot and had confirmation by email, but it wasn't there when we got there and the staff were a bit upset to be asked. In the end, they gave us a small bed rather than a cot per se.

"Kembali (to rerun in Indonesian) lives up to its name."

8.0

It has operated for 15 years and I enjoy coming back. Excellent value for money compared to many other places in that price range in Amed.

Couldn’t fail then for anything at that price.

"Perfect getaway, peaceful and beautiful surrounds."

9.0

Beautiful staff, excellent customer service and so friendly. The Location was perfect, out of the front gate and straight on to the beach. We were able to snorkle right out the front of the premises and Mount Agung is so close and you can see it from the beach and from the front of the hotel you can see the sunrise and the sunset, perfect spot! The bungalow was very clean, there was a safe in the room and the wifi worked well. Clean pool sounded with sunbeds and views of the beach. Meals can be purchased and are very reasonable priced.

There wasn't anything I didn't like, I really enjoyed my stay. If you are expecting modern and upmarket, this won't be for you but if you enjoy clean and comfortable with an old style Bali feel, you will love it.

"Very good"

The location in terms of beach and snorkelling couldn't be better. You got a stunning view of Mt. Agung in the day, fantastic sunset and excellent snorkelling right in front of the resort. Staff and owner were very cheerful and helpful.

We are light sleepers and unfortunately we got a room that had the main road behind it. So we could hear traffic all night and early in the morning. We may have just been unlucky as there were rooms closer to the beach that looked to be farther from the road.

"Great location overlooking the beach."

10.0

Large bungalow right on the black volcanic beach with snorkeling right outside your room and fabulous views of Mount Agung. Pool was lovely as was breakfast and the staff were very friendly and kind. Had delicious food from the menu onsite which is cooked and delivered by Bliss warung. Good value basic accommodation with semi outdoor bathroom complete with wildlife ha ha. Perfect place to chill and do nothing, bars and warungs in walking distance. Contact them either here or directly if you would like a bungalow overlooking the sea for a small upgrade as only 2 pool views bungalows are available on this site. Owner was very prompt and helpful when we arrange an extra nights stay.

Nothing we would stay again.

"Great spot right on the beach in the north of Bali"

8.0

Location is perfect, right on the beach where you can snorkel. Nice bungalow, nice bathroom, AC worked well! Breakfast was simple but good. Dinner can be ordered and will be brought from a nearby kitchen.

Bed is big but the mattress was not very comfy (for me). We booked this location to use the ferry from the harbour in Amed, but the harbour seemed (temporally?) closed. The ferry company organised a taxi pick up in Amed, and took us to PadangBai instead. No blame to the hotel, but just something to check next time :)
