Wir befanden uns für 2 Tage in der Unterkunft. Wir wurden so herzlich empfangen und aufgenommen. Am Tag nach der Ankunft sind wir schon früh zum Addo Elefant Park. Da wir nicht zum Frühstück da waren, haben wir ein Frühstück für unterwegs mitbekommen. Das Barbecue ist sehr zu empfehlen, es wurde sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben und war sehr lecker. Einen Tag nach der Abreise haben wir uns zufällig wieder getroffen und wurden direkt auf einen Kaffee eingeladen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Liebe Grüße Lisa und Felix

Wir haben nur eine Nacht in der Harmony Lodge verbracht – und sie gehört definitiv zu den schönsten Stationen unserer Reise. Schon der Kontakt im Vorfeld mit Marietjie war herzlich und unkompliziert, bei der Ankunft wurden wir ebenso freundlich von Mike empfangen. Die beiden schaffen eine Atmosphäre, in der man sich sofort willkommen und zuhause fühlt. Unser Zeltbungalow war perfekt ausgestattet – mit viel Liebe zum Detail, sehr gemütlich und absolut komfortabel. Besonders das originelle Außenbad hat uns begeistert – eine tolle Idee, die hervorragend umgesetzt wurde. Ein echtes Highlight war das abendliche BBQ mit Mike, der mit großer Freude für uns gegrillt hat. Und auch an Vegetarier wurde gedacht: Marietjie hat extra etwas Leckeres zubereitet. Beim gemeinsamen Essen entstanden lange, persönliche Gespräche – ein wunderschöner Abend, der uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Auch das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war hervorragend – frisch, abwechslungsreich und liebevoll serviert. Und die Betten? Einfach traumhaft bequem. Die Harmony Lodge ist nicht nur ein wunderschöner Ort – sie lebt vor allem durch die Menschen, die sie führen. Marike und Mike geben diesem Ort seine Seele. Schade, dass wir nur eine Nacht bleiben konnten!

Sehr große, außergewöhnlich ausgestattete Zimmer mit Wohnzimmer und Veranda, tolle Aussicht, sehr herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, reichhaltiges und leckeres Essen

Amazing B&B. The location is perfect for a visit to for instance Addo Elephant Park. We (family of 4) slept in a awesome tent with two bedrooms. Highlight of the tent is the outdoor bathroom with shower and toilet. Owners/Hosts Mike and Marietjie are extremely hospitable in the most natural way and they go to great lengths to make the stay as pleasant as possible. The BBQ/Braai dinner that is offered is of great quality and value to. Highly recommended to complement a nice day of safari.

The setup was all good and the reception was also a welcoming we are looking forward to come again.

The furniture and the art of lay out.

Mike and Marietjie are such a lovely host couple. The resort is in a great location; you can watch giraffes from a distance, and impalas roam the grounds. The tents are incredibly comfortable, and the evening BBQ was truly delicious. Mike also has excellent tips for excursions in the area. Thank you very much, Stefan and Melanie.

One of the Highlights of our Trip. The two hosts made us feel like old family members from far away from the first moment on. The tents are wonderful and sitting on the terrace watching the wild giraffes and other wildlife was hands down under the top 5 travel experiences we experienced in our lifes. I highly recommend going there also with children and to show them the wildlife of SA with a huge variety of animals. The Braai in the evening is another highlight featuring the best products like organic butter or meat. Do yourself a favor and don’t rush it. We stayed for 4 nights and could easily have stayed longer as you really experience the pleasure of a spot where time stands still. Thank you for having us. We will for sure come back ❤️
