Super nice owners, they even grilled especially for us and it was very delicious. It was also really nice at night to hear the animals around the tent eating, and during the day you can always see monkeys, antelopes, etc. Would definitely come again anytime.

Beautiful tents , much bigger than they seem in the pictures. We loved spotting giraffes from our balcony in the morning! Mike and Marietjie are lovely hosts who genuinely want their guests to have a great experience.

Das Zelt 1 sehr geräumig, schön eingerichtet. Die Außendusche ein Erlebnis zum Wachwerden. Tolle Aussicht von der Terrasse. Frühstück und Abendessen werden gemeinsam im Lapa eingenommen, der große Esstisch verbindet Nationalität und Alter. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Man erfährt viel über Land und Leute! Der Addo Elephant Park ist ca 50 Minuten entfernt.

The whole experience on the property with the animals and the spacious tents with comfy beds was incredible. Marietjie & Mike are phenomenal hosts, we felt right at home. They help with every question you’ll have and are super friendly. The breakfast in the morning & the Braai in the evening were delicious! We can recommend a stay a 100%!

Marietjie en Mike zijn fantastische hosts en wat een lieve mensen! Bedankt voor het warme ontvangst, de mooie gesprekken én de heerlijke braai. De tent was fantastisch en van alle gemakken voorzien. Waanzinnig uitzicht, zowel overdag als de sterrenhemel 's nachts. Bedankt Marietjie en Mike, jullie hebben onze vakantie zoveel mooier gemaakt! We zullen dit voor altijd herinneren! En volgend jaar komen we heel graag weer terug!

The tent itself was new, clean and like the pictures. The lodge accoss the road has giraffes, which is nice to see. We had a massive wolf spider in our tent which made it memorable. We stayed one night, and except for the price of the room and the price of the food, had a good experience.

The location is close to the road and opposite another lodge, so you look onto the main house where the hosts stay and the other lodge, not quite like the pictures show, and definitely not a real bush experience. We opted in for dinner, which was over R400 per person, and definitely not worth it as a South African. While the food was good, it was not worth the money spent. Breakfast is also just 2 egg (you don't get asked how you would like it) and one piece of bacon, with the night before left over mieleies and mushroom. There was no fruit. We can see how as a tourist a real South African braai for dinner is fun, but not worth the price. While this property is pretty, it's not worth the money spent on accommodation and we have stayed at stunning lodges for much less. At the end of our stay, when checking out, the host tried to sell us balancing bracelets to 'block radio waves'.

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts Mike and Marietjie were incredibly welcoming and created a relaxed, informal atmosphere that made us feel at home straight away. The optional Braai dinner was excellent and very well priced, with top-quality meat sourced from local farmers and butchers, a real highlight. The views are beautiful, the accommodation is comfortable, and everything suited us perfectly. It’s also a great location for exploring the wider region, not just Addo. We’d happily stay again. A quick note referring to other reviews commenting on the road conditions: this is rural Africa! Roads may be a little rough at times, but that’s all part of the adventure and should be seen as the charm of being out in nature.

We had a great time here and owners were extremely helpful and friendly. We loved seeing the wildlife on the property. Unfortunately because of the ongoing drought in the Western Cape we were not able to swim as water is scarce
