The Onsen Hot Spring Resort

Beautiful setting, polite staff, good breakfast

Private onsen scheduled 8:00pm - 10:00pm only, actually started to fill 9:30pm. Too late for kids to use, too short time adults to enjoy. Then hotel asked for Rp500,000 to have in morning instead. Basically onsen hotel with no onsen. Not happy

Hotel design and architecture are nice. Cleanliness is not bad either but it could be better.

Our room is very noisy from the street. The cars and motorcycle noise really bother us, even at night the street was still noisy. To make it worse, there were group of students who had team building activities and start their activities by blasting loudspeaker at 6 am. We came there with expectation of nice and quiet place to relax. Not to hear street noise or loudspeaker at 6 am. We went home disappointed and feel more tired instead of relax. If you come here with expectation of onsen like in Japan, you will get disappointed too because the hot spring is not 24 hours. They only filled the tub at 8 pm and the water was not flowing constantly so it would get cold quickly. By 9 pm the water was already cold. The tub is located at the balcony with no privacy.

Well maintained and great overall to relax.

The room was close to a major street and clearly noisy the whole night. Is that the “booking.com” reserved room? ShabuShabu was bellow par for the meat (too thick).

The resort is very asethetic! The place is design as if you are in Kyoto. A lot of photo spots. Breakfast has sushi as well and the room we stayed has an onsen area.

Unfortunately the hotel was right across of a giant rubbish dump which can be very smelly and they can do nothing about it. And the back has some kind of animal farm, I can sometimes smell goats/ cows odors. Our room was right across the rubbish dump. They offered to move us to other room after a night. But we are 5 people so, we cant be bothered to pack and unpack our belongings again. They should have known not to give us that room before we checked in. There is no safety box, no AC / fan which could be useful for day time heat. We open the doors and windows at day time but most of the time the smells from rubbish was very strong :( Very limited power sockets, most of them are on the floor, which is inconvenient to reach. Bed was very rough.
