Dar Fès Huda

Our experience in Dar Fes Houda has been amazing! 💙 The place is so beautiful and charming, both the common spaces and the rooms. Ours was very special and cosy, and the beds comfortable. Everything is clean and well prepared. Amina, the owner, is really kind, attentive and helpful, and she prepares a stunning and delicious typical breakfast every morning. Also her son and husband are very nice and attentive. Last but not least, the location is super good, less than 5mins aways from the Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud), at the entrance of the Medina. A very quiet place, where you can hear birds sing. We totally recommend this place and we'll surely come back if we visit Fez again. Merci pour tout! 🌸🥰 Shukran!!

Amina and Ahmed were wonderful. Despite arriving later than we'd indicated Amina was able to help us settle into the room. The room was compact but everything was comfortable and clean. Later on Ahmed helped us get to the recommended/closest parking; we'd arrived on Sunday lunchtime and the town was very busy. Breakfast, made and served by Amina, was delicious and beautifully presented. This was our first visit to Fès and the location was perfect; just inside the Medina but easy to find.

We stayed at this Riad for three nights, and it was absolutely wonderful. Ahmed and Amina were always incredibly kind and helped us every step of the way. When we went on a trip to the desert, Amina prepared a breakfast for us to take along, and when we had to leave early for the airport, she got up at dawn to make us a feast. Ahmed arranged a taxi for us and even came along to make sure everything went smoothly. The room was beautiful and cozy. The decoration is so traditional, and the location is EXCELLENT — we were just a short walk from the Blue Gate. If you want to truly connect with locals and eat real Moroccan food, you should definitely stay with them. They’re not just any hotel hosting tourists — they are people who genuinely want to help you and share their culture with you. Lastly, Amina’s food was the best we had during our trip to Morocco — all homemade, freshly prepared, with love and dedication. We feel blessed to have met them, and if we ever come back to Fez, it will definitely be to stay at this Riad. Thank you so much for making our vacation something magical.

The room was very gorgeous, the main issue was ventilation, but because they are deep inside a Medina, I can understand why it was difficult to ventilate. Ahmed was helpful and helped us send parts of our luggage back to Australia. We are so grateful! The hosts were very accommodating! We are extremely happy with the services.

The house was very nice and the room was as well. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and shower worked well. Everything was very clean. The family who owns the property is super kind and generous.

Everything! Beautiful Riad and wonderful hosts. Welcomed with mint tea and sweets. Breakfast was hearty and delicious with eggs, coffee, tea and sweet pancake. Right in medina but quiet and close to main Blue Gate. Good heater for February. Host woke up very early on the morning of my departure and walked me out to the taxi negotiated the cost to the train station. Nice as a solo female.

The location was perfect, easy walk to the heart of the Medina. Get a taxi to the Blue Gate and it’s about a 5 minute walk (Google maps will get you there). The hosts, Ahmed and Amina were delightful and helpful. Ahmed gave us a map of the Medina and showed us how to get to the various places of interest. We had to change rooms due to my mobility issues and they were very accommodating. Amina cooked us a three course meal (Tagine) one night and I have to say it was the best meal we’ve had in Morocco - thank you Amina.

We had problems with the shower

Ecxellent breakfast and very nice staff, although the woman didn´t speak English.
