Miles Outback Motel

The location is good with easy access to shopes and restarants. Room was comfortable, well apointed, and clean.

Being located on the main highway through town there was regular heavy vehicle noise, although that was not noticable when in the room with the door and windows closed.

Host was lovely, very accomadating and friendly. Access to laundry facilities (free) was a bonus. The grounds were tidy and well kept as was the room and bathroom.

It was, clean & very comfortable.

I would have really liked to have bed lights so that I could read in bed.

Having stayed in several motels on our trip, it was great to have extra space in these rooms. And a nice big roomy shower with efficient heat lamp!

Although the essentials were all very clean, the rooms are a bit tired. The carpets are quite stained. A thick layer of dust on the back of the single armchair.

The room and bathroom were larger than an average motel room with everything needed for an overnight or longer stay. It is close to the pubs for meals and a drink. The room was well presented. Under cover parking or lock up garage is an option. It has 3 different street entrances. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

It was hard to find. The small sign coming east was covered by a tree and google didnt even know the street name and directed me to a motel across the side street from it. The rear entrance didnt have a sign on it as well. At 0800 I couldnt find a place to buy breaky or get a cappuccino in the main street of the town. Perhaps the motel could offer that as old fashioned service that we used to get.
