The room facilities were non- existant. Had to hire a towel! What a mean spirited organisation that manages this place. No toaster, cutlery/crockery unless you hired that for $5.... got to be kidding. I know the kitchen was stocked however I wanted my privacy to some degree. NOT A PLACE FOR ME. Kim Shearn

Good location and staff were nice

When we got there they had double booked so we had to move to another motel, this motel was fine but wasn’t what we payed for, the owner was nice to drive us over there but not ideal

Unfortunately, this stay was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. As soon as we walked into the cabin, there was a very strong musty smell that was immediately noticeable and unpleasant. The odour was overwhelming and seemed to come from the old carpet, which smelt damp, as though the room had previously been wet. Within no more than 15 minutes of being in the room, my partner suffered an asthma attack, which was extremely concerning and left us with no option but to leave immediately. The air quality felt poor and unsafe, particularly for anyone with respiratory issues. Given the circumstances, we returned the key and had to abandon our stay altogether, heading to Christchurch in pouring rain to find alternative accommodation. It was a stressful and upsetting experience, and not something anyone should have to deal with after arriving for what should have been a relaxing stay. Sadly, we would not stay here again and hope the owners address the condition of the cabin, particularly the carpet and ventilation, to prevent this from happening to others.

Das Appartment war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Zudem war das Personal ausgesprochen nett. Wir hatten einen tollen Blick auf die Bucht.
