No gas for 2 days then only hot water no heating

We liked the location as we were visiting my sister who lives in Corton. The caravan was roomy and has two doubles which is better for adults to use. It had a lot of equipment and a good size fridge and freezer. Added bonus of an on suite toilet to one of the bedrooms.

It smelled a bit on arrival and did not have a remote for the TV. All curtains and upholstery could do with a good deep clean may get rid of the smell. Also you can get universal remotes which would be easier to turn the television over although we did not use the TV much or stay in for long as spent time going out and about different places.

The caravan was situated in a cosy corner where the dogs and us had more privacy which was nice. The wooded area in the park and vast areas for the dogs to walk was amazing. As well as the views! Blown me away! The owners of the caravan went above and beyond to help me in a difficult car situation, which I'm very grateful for, thank you.

Because we started off with car trouble as soon as we got to the park, we asked where there was a shop to get milk, bread, etc. The receptionist told us we had to make a trip to Morrisons which is the closest shop. We took a bus (cost us £8 there n back!). To then later find out the park had a grocery shop inside!!! Why the hell were we told to go somewhere else when you had what we needed in the park? I wasn't very happy. Also... £15 for burger n chips!! Why?!!

It was a good location. At the end of the path, so no cars drove past. Lots of green open space.

I do not usually write reviews, but people need to be warned NOT to book this caravan. The smell in the caravan was unbearable. I understand that it is a dog friendly van, but that is purely for allergy reasons. We should not have been able to smell dog urine and faeces throughout the caravan. The sofa, cushions and throw in the lounge smelt. We felt very uncomfortable sitting on it. I know that the cleaners were unable to hoover due to a power cut, however; the marks on the carpet could've come up with some scrubbing. A site member came to fix the shower at the start of our stay. We were unaware that he was coming. The windows and doors are filthy on the inside and outside. The dining room chairs are broke and uncomfortable to sit on. The boiler broke three times and we followed the instructions to reset. When we woke up one morning, we were unable to get it to work again and had to have cold showers. This ruined our holiday. We decided to leave a day early as we couldn’t stand not sleeping properly because of the smell and wanted a warm shower. We felt very dirty. When I contacted the owners, nothing was offered. I understand that it was a “cheap” holiday, but that is no excuse. I would not stay in this caravan again if I was paid to.

The location was good

The heating went off due to the gas running out. The owner messaged, saying the gas is very expensive and runs out quickly, so only use when you really need to. This was disappointing as we were also informed not to use the fireplace in the lounge. After the gas bottle was fitted, we still had no heating. We left the caravan at night time as the maintenance took a long time to arrive and by this time we were ready to leave.

Nice quiet area, Andy was amazing quick to respond and help with any issues. Nice homely feel to the caravan.
