"Every couple should experience this!"

This wasn’t a stay, it was an experience. Jim and Susie met us when we first arrived, gave us a walk through of the buggies and the accommodation and left us to it. Everything we saw had been carefully thought out, from the kitchen layout and utensils to the design of the tents so you could enjoy the views and imagine you were completely alone. The initial supplies were provided were not at all the “basics”, again the thoughtfulness and attention to the minor details showed. What do you do in an isolated area with no reception? The provided UTV allowed us to explore the vast property with ease and more then a few laughs and enjoy the very secluded swimming hole at the very far end. Coming back we were able to cook for ourselves while enjoying the views over the water, supermarket pizza has never tasted so good! After a brief nap and some reading beside the river we were able to enjoy dusk on our deck with a quiet beverage before some quiet cards and a solid nights sleep. The river outside was the best white noise machine for sleep as we sunk into the pillows on the massive bed. The cool nights were offset by a warm bath (which was big enough for my 6’2” frame to submerge in) and the air conditioner keeping the edge off. The worst part of the whole trip was having to leave, we would love to come back again for at least a three night stay to enjoy the serenity of the location and the hospitality on offer. Well done Jim and Susie!

Everything was amazing, Jim & Susan, the owners are very welcoming and friendly. The room is amazing and smells nice when you walk in, bathroom is amazing, along with the riverside view, platypus family in the river along with a few nice swimming spots

Amaroo is in a very beautiful location and the accommodation was extremely luxurious. The hosts provided a vehicle that made it possible to visit other parts of the property and this was a highlight.
