Blue Whale Resort

We had a great stay. The chalets have an amazing view! We even saw a whale from the terrace. Unfortunately it was windy and cold for us to use but it’s located in a beautiful setting on the cliffs by the sea. You definitely need a car to reach location.

The view was the best aspect of this resort. The chalets are private and have the cutest fish names for each chalet. The best part for me is not having a TV because it gives us the necessary time to talk, rest, walk, or drive around.

The view was spectacular and the stay comfortable.

I would suggest a fireplace or gas heaters for the winter with bigger blankets for the cold.

Comfort of house and the exceptional view over the sea. Dolphins frolicking in the waves right in front of us. Night good sleeping with the sound of breaking waves on the rocks. Cool enough no Aircon’s needed. Very big nice braaier on veranda with full sea view.

No television. Difficult to keep kids occupied if its raining. Got Wifi. May be Netflix. Not necessary for Multichoice. Wood appreciate cleaner every day.

The view was spectacular! Chalet no.1 is recommended for the best view. Quiet and surrounded by nature. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen.

Wifi signal is terrible and there's no television, this proves difficult to keep a toddler entertained. Not toddler friendly especially because of the stairs from the front door next to the bathroom to the kitchen below, and the steps from the sitting area to the veranda. My 3 year old fell from the stairs multiple times and anded up with quite a few bruises. Some sort of enclosure or roll up sail would be nice on the veranda - when the wind or rain hits you can't sit outside and enjoy a braai because it's simply unpleasant out. No back up power, I would like to see a battery back up system considering the amount we paid. We had stage 6 loadshedding when we stayed here, it was quite unpleasant and frustrating.
