Hotel Morinokaze Hakone Sengokuhara

Very relaxing and calm with incredible facilities

We absolutely loved our stay at this Hakone Ryokan. I highly recommend for anyone who wishes to have a clean and peaceful stay with excellent service. Every staff member we interacted with was 100% focused on our satisfaction as guests. We are big foodies, and the included meals were balanced, filling and felt special. We were able to try several new foods for the first time. I am mostly compelled to write this review after the excellent hospitality we received from Hiromi. Our last night here she served our dinner and it felt like we being taken care of as if we were guests in her own home. She noticed that I removed my jacket and brought cold towels to help me cool off. She noticed my partner using a tissue and promptly brought an entire box for our table. She noticed we were very full and offered to deliver our dessert to our room. All of this without us asking but with her offering. We were so amazed by her kindness and attention to our needs. Our conversation with her was fantastic and she remains a highlight of our 2-week trip in Japan. Arigato gozaimashita Hiro, we will always remember you! 😊 The staff also mailed my forgotten coat to our next hotel! Truly a fantastic experience from start to finish, I wish we had more nights here.

Both the meal and the breakfast was superb. The staff explained every piece of the meal despite the language differences.
