The cost

The quality of this accomodation was horrific. Smelt of mould and the room was so unreal and stains everywhere. The mould smell was so unbearable we could not sleep

Bathrooms were a bit unclean, felt a bit unsafe, hallway door was left open all night.

The only positive is the location. It is central and plenty of pubs nearby. It's also next door to a 24-hour service station which is noisy.

I don't mind staying somewhere that is run down, but I can't stand filth. This has to be one of the dirtiest places I have stayed in. The doona blanket was badly stained, the tea cup provided was used, a cockroach crawled across my face during the night and ants nested in my CPAP machine (medical sleep device). When asked for a clean cup, The lady wash it out, but it was still dirty. I had to clean it myself. There was inch thick dust on the carpet edges and skirtings + I found hair on the toilet seat which tells me they do not clean at all. The shower was so mouldy, carpets are stained and only an old sheet held up with two screws for a curtain. These are only some of the many issues I had with this place and I'm not even mentioning the safety concerns such as the balconey railing being loose and will not support the weight of someone leaning on it. The lady did not seem to care about my concerns, just gave me a can of fly spray. Her husband AJ, was very apologetic and replaced the linen, with less stained doona and sheets with hair on them. Nothing here is safe or clean and I can honestly say I won't return even if I got the accommodation for free. Someone kept entering my room when I was not there (not to empty bins or top up supplies). When I mentioned this to AJ, he couldn't tell me why. I stayed in room 1

Noisy from the top floor

value for money, cost effective and central to town within walking distance to eateries and other retail shops

No free TV access had to log on to my own Netflix the room allocated to me was too noisy and too close to road. no sleep as the traffic noise was loud as well as people hanging out near the accommodation. i was allocated a front room closer to the main road.
