Rutland Rooms

It was a nice room and comfortable bed. We were allowed to check in early which was very helpful.

Excellent location, quiet and comfortable room with everything we needed for a weekend

Very strong drain smell in the bathroom, this did disappear after using the shower each day but came back after a few hours. Only one plug socket in room

Simple check in and departure. Convenient secure entrance. Verify convenient central location, car park close by, and pleasant cafe next door for breakfast.

Room was a little airless on a hot night, but staff had thoughtfully provided an electric fan which helped greatly.

Room was small but clean and nicely decorated. Easy instructions for check in, check out. Good size shower room and good shower. Great location with two nice coffee shops next door and lots of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Nice touch to leave emergency supplies on landing.

Only one double socket and none near bed for charging. We were provided with a short extension lead which we used to plug in the free standing fan but that took up a lot of the limited space and meant cables trailing around the room. It was also exceptionally hot and stuffy but we were staying during an unexpected heatwave. I ended up sleeping under a wet towel!
