Easy to find basic accommodations

although bedding was supplied, there was no towel. no hot water in the room.

Accueil très sympathique et sans chichis. Emplacement pratique pour un court séjour. Bon rapport qualité prix.

L’endroit n’est pas spécialement beau et sous le pont ferroviaire. ( très peu de trains). Plutôt un terrain de transit pour attendre le ferry.

Nothing. The owner/manager was rude, arrogant & obnoxious. We questioned about a refund for another night that we had booked and cancelled several weeks prior to be the date it was needed (booked through booking.com for 20/21 December cancelled 30 November. The wife told us it was sold one so I don’t understand why at least a part refund couldn’t have been offered. Instead he took our key back and refunded that night and told us too leave. Paid for two nights refunded for one and kicked out, but they still got a full night paid for a room we didn’t stay!

Everything. For all the reasons as explained in the “what did I like?”. Plus due to being kicked out we then had to drive all the way back to Christchurch tired, as we didn’t have money to stay anywhere else and the money he did refund us into our bank account didn’t clear till several days later due to it being a statutory holiday.

Customer service was terrible, not very friendly, door didn’t open properly in our cabin and no running hot water, right under a train track and we were charged for a visitor who stay over the visiting hours which we were not aware of. Would not recommend and will never stay here again.

Pleasantly surprised at how quiet and peaceful it was.

Cute room...charming. the manager picked us up when we needed a ride...easy facilities and great location
