It got the job done. I was able to sleep and go to work the next day.

Everything is old and tired. It's not awful but nothing great. Smells of cigarette smoke, pillows are hard and huge, couldn't change the temperature on the AC so had to just turn it off, could hear neighbors through the walls (though they weren't noisy), outside area is neglected with eaves falling off buildings, etc.

It was a good experience to stay there.

Good Traditional Taiwanese food. Location wasn’t too bad in terms of where it is in New Taipei City but it takes around 20 mins on bus to get to MRT system.

I was asked to leave my access card at reception each time I go out. This is not quite a common practice elsewhere.
