Beds were awesome not the best mattress in the world but a mattress nonetheless. You get what you pay for and more in this case with a superbly equipped kitchen lovely grounds a free use pool nice area for drying stuff and borderline luxury bunk room. There also a games room were you can ask for the equipment (free of charge) from the lovely receptionists who looked after my bags when I went on the pinnacles hike after checking out. The tv room has some good reading aswell. There’s a lovely river to sit by as you eat or a good set of benches with a nice view by the kitchen. One of my best stays in north island without a doubt was lovely to take the afternoon off here.

Location was a bit far from town however, I am a solo traveller without a car and had to walk. Most would find it perfect. Could also do with a washing machine (I’m not sure they might have one).

Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr nett. Ich hatte den ganzen Schlafsaal für mich und konnte direkt neben der Hütte parken. In der Hütte gab es Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher und Toaster sowie Geschirr und Besteck. In der Gemeinschaftsküche war alles vorhanden, was man sonst brauchen könnte. Das Bad war sauber (heiße Dusche kostet 1$ für 5min), es gab ein zusätzliches WC in der Nähe der Hütte.

Zu viert mit Gepäck könnte es eng werden in der Hütte. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, für den Preis aber völlig in Ordnung.
