Sterling Inn and Suites at Reliant and Medical Center Houston

I liked the location.

What I didn't like was the appearance of the room. Furniture looked as though it came from a flood, very dusty and the refrigerator was rusted. People were arguing around 3:45 am and kept me up until 6. To top it off, when I get back to the room later, my key doesn't work. When I get to the front desk, the staff tells me she booked me for only one night when I booked online for two. I clearly asked her when I checked in when was the checkout on Sunday? She said 11 a.m. I then asked where my things were and they had taken them out of the room and were placed in the office. If I knew I was checking out, why would I have left my things? I was furious. She wanted to check me back in and I said no. Will not be back.

I didn’t like about them cleaning the whole room completely cause it’s was roaches coming out of them holes & they could have better internet as well

On a positive note, the staff was helpful and courteous. One of the team members assisted me in charging my phone when I forgot my travel adapter and also helped me make an important call. I appreciated the support and professionalism in that regard.

I had an unpleasant experience during my stay. I got locked inside the washroom and struggled for quite some time before I was finally able to open it. When I informed the staff, they mentioned they were already aware of the issue in that room. It’s disappointing that they still assigned me a room with a known problem. I’ve asked the staff to ensure such issues are addressed in the future to avoid similar situations for other guests. Definitely expected better maintenance and service.

No breakfast which was fine.. went for concert at nrg stadium it was a short walk there.. over all it's a decent place to stay for the night.. our room was clean and staff was nice.. a/c worked really well room was super cold.

Bed was a little to firm my back hurt when I woke up. Slightly noisy outside.
