Perfect location to stay while riding on the Shimanami kaido. Good halfway point from onomichi. Bicycles kept outside accommodation. Spacious accomodation with own ensuite. Futons comfortable. Kaiseki breakfast was delicious. Omishima is a beautiful island. Staff friendly

"Very traditional and beautiful Japanese hotel"

I absolutely loved the breakfast. The food was super authentic and of very high quality. The room was also very pretty, in traditional Japanese style.

I thought the room was too warm, and the futon beds were uncomfortable because the mattress was too thin. We could not have dinner at the hotel because it was already full. We walked around but most of the restaurants said we should have reserved. We ended up at a rather bad pizza place.
