The Swan Inn Newport

The smell of disinfectant,poor up keep of shower room, window did id open

The staff were friendly and the room was very comfortable. A nice touch was the towels in the shape of a swan on the bed.

The rain but nobody can control the weather.

Our room was clean and comfortable and separate from the pub. It was fantastic value as we haven’t stayed anywhere on a Friday night for £50 and was minutes away from the main High Street

Free parking and good location

Sticky carpet, lots of noise from the pub, blocked and dirty toilet,really strong smell of dettol that was overwhelming and no plug socket near the mirror which made it impossible to dry your hair properly.

It’s centrally located and parking is available. The room was clean, reasonable size and with hanging space. Coffee making facilities were provided.

No bedside lights and no room cleaning services

Musty smell, room very hot

I have stayed at this property several times but due to booking last minute, (so therefore not the hotels fault)ended up with a small room overlooking the main road, so quite noisy and also, I felt,not up to the standard of the rooms I have stayed in previously.I would still use this hotel again in future though,due to the friendly staff,cleanliness,value for money and it being a short stroll into town.
