Tongariboshi (Adult Only)

great value for money, the room was huge: had tv, microwave, fridge, AC, kettle and the bed was very big. i didn't use it but also had a bathtub!

because it's a love hotel the check in was a bit complicated: you have to enter, use an internal phone to call a member of the staff and then they will open the room for you. also the room wasn't very clean: dust and hair on the floor and stains on the bed sheets (although they were washed and clean). the pillows were made of (recicled?) plastic straw bits: although they weren't really bad they aren't really comfortable either. pretty hard if not impossible to get there without a car.

I did not know when I booked it was a "Love Hotel" but it did not matter - The location suited my pilgrim walking schedule. it was kind of interesting to stay there. I should have guessed from the "adults only" notice on the booking, but it was clean and quiet and convenient. Next time i will take a playmate.... maybe... ;)

Definitely a great place when you want to find a cheap place during your travel. The room was spacious with couch and all you need like tv, fridge. The big bathtub was great to relax. The check in might be a bit confusing because you don't have a reception. Its a Love hotel and i didn't know what that is before. You find some decent prospects and videos there but if you ignore it its like a normal hotel.

Hotel is out of town, difficult to reach if you do not drive. Also difficult to identify as a hotel. Steep staircase to access the room, not easy with heavy suitcase. No restaurants around. Looks like nobody running the place that needs some renovation.
