Love the trotting mare have stayed a few times It’s so quiet and peaceful. The grounds are immaculate The house are very clean and modern

"A luxurious countryside gem"

The property was close enough to town to be convenient, but rural enough to be peaceful. The check in process was super easy and everything at the property was set up waiting for us. The kitchen was well equipped - we didn’t do any cooking but we had everything we would need to do so. Great care has been taken to use top furnishings and finishings throughout, the bathroom is especially impressive. We did not use the onsite pub but it looked very inviting. We would definitely stay here again.

The towels were a bit small but that is the only thing I can nitpick! We were there during a heatwave and a fan would have made the bedroom a bit cooler at night but again not a big issue.

Parking quite far away from property and no cushions on the sofa's, however they were very comfortable anyway

Gary is a great host. Enjoyed our accommodation and when the pub's open, it's a nice place to spend some time getting to know some of the neighbour's.

Beautiful property. Very comfortable. Everything we needed for our stay. Finished to a very high standard.

The dogs barking at 5.30am on the caravan park next door. No complaints directed at the property. Would have liked a fan for the really hot nights.

Accommodation was beautiful clean and comfortable. Quiet and perfect getaway had a wonderful stay!

Only comment is upstairs was very warm at night and a fan would have been very welcome and some larger bath towels would have been good

The paving needs sorting as both my mum and myself tripped on a couple of occasions. The car parking was very good but a bit of a trek for mum. The property was beautiful but very dark as having a fence right out side and very close to the kitchen window. Dust skirting boards
