Houseboat Young Snow View Front Line Dal Lake

The location was excellent facing the mountains.Most of the houseboats were facing the road and this one is at an excellent location especially at night time you get a beautiful view.

1. The staff did not ask us for anything, neither greeted nor asked/provided any food 2. If some facility is not included in booking, simply tell me the charges, but the staff was not up to the mark.

The houseboat is located in a good area, on the whole this was a pleasant stay as it offers lovely views of the lake in the morning and during the day. The room was spacious with hot water and good wifi. The guys on the boat make a good eggy bread for breakfast and can offer a Shikara ride too. The drivers that Bilal had arranged for me were all good and professional.

I think there was a bit of a break down in communication at some points. For the breakfast and the pick-ups this could have been more punctual. Bilal kindly offered to arrange a tour for my few days, but I felt like the arrangements were made in too much of a rushed fashion for me to consider them properly and I may perhaps have spent than more of my budget. I'd suggest that these discussions take place prior to the guest's arrival to make things easier for planning - rather than last minute.

Not only did they provide a fantastic stay, but they also took care of all our travel needs, from arranging a knowledgeable tour guide to booking hotels and a cab for our journey through Kashmir. Their recommendations were spot-on, helping us explore the region’s stunning beauty at great prices. The views from the boat house, especially at sunrise and sunset, were magical and added to the charm of our stay. Waking up to the serene sounds of the lake and enjoying a hot cup of kahwa on the deck was an experience we’ll treasure forever. The only minor con of our stay was the chilly weather, which is typical for Kashmir. However, the boat house more than compensated with heated beds, warm blankets, heaters, and hot showers, ensuring we stayed cozy and comfortable throughout.

This property is located at very interesting location, facing lake & mountain view. Without second thought you can book it. Bathroom is slightly congested but not worrying part. Service, location, staff behavior, everything was very good experience. Since the property is wooden made and standing on wooden reefs it'll make some cranky noise which I ignored as it's common. Rest left to you.

Power went off in between the night and morning house. Backup is required.
