Boogaloo Camp

Great location. Loved the bathrooms rustic and clean. Camp kitchen was good.

The only thing I didn’t like was that the mattress was really thin and quite uncomfortable.

I have stayed in hundreds of accommodations world wide and usually only wrote positive reviews. However, I feel it is necessary to be frank and to the point, so that Boogaloo Camp can improve the experience for fellow travellers. When we made the booking online, pictures of a comfortable igloo-style semi-permanent accomodation with doors and windows were shown on the website, with beautiful interior decoration. However, when we arrived we were put in a canvas tent, most likely because all the iglo-style accommodation was taken. The tent was clean and had a bed. However, when it started raining, large puddles started forming on the inside of the tent and we had to move our stuff onto the chairs and table to keep it dry. The horizontal zippers were not water proof and could not be closed completely. An awning would possibly remedy this situation if leaking. Later in the evening, mosquitoes started coming in through the gaps in the 'closed' zippers and we had to use mosquito repellent. One of the basic camping chairs inside the tent was broken and could not be used. The electrical lighting cord around the centre post was attached with half loose duct tape on both ends. The accommodation was not worth the money we paid (150 dollar) and I felt that the website was misleading. Checking the website afterwards, it was clear why I felt misled: the first 18 pictures were of the terrific igloo-style accommodations, only after that some pictures were shown of the tents we stayed in. When the booking was made, it was not clear that actually two completely different styles of accommodation were available. In general the other facilities were good, however, the motion triggered lighting outside the toilet did not work. It was very difficult to negotiate and find the way to the toilets without a torch at night. The light inside the one of the toilet did not work when switched on.

Fabulous 2 night break. The host Paul was very friendly and informative. The facilities provided were excellent. The kitchen area had everything we needed for a bbq. Beds were extremely comfortable and bedding was of a good quality,

Amazing place to stay to enjoy the nature. Clean and spacious domo! Clean bathrooms and everything you need to cook in the kitchen. Wifi was okey. Definitely recommend to stay at Boogaloo camp.

Cleaning was poor, kitchen and bathroom.

Surrounding area and all the facilities provided were just awesome can’t explain in words It was one of the best experiences i had in my life.
