Alamanda team bedankt voor, jullie inzet en geduld met mij, het was een heerlijk verblijf, ik had maar kort geboekt want loop niet zo goed, en wist niet zeker of jullie wel de goede plek waren. Maar ben ruim een week gebleven en heb genoten van jullie locatie, maar vooral de service, het is echt waar “niets moet” alles mag en jullie slogan, je komt als gast en gaat als familie, is zeker waa,r ik hebt al weer geboekt voor volgend jaar maar dan 2 weken. Niet maar niets is jullie te veel, de Indonesische gastvrijheid, hartelijkheid kan volgens mij niet overtroffen worden ergens anders. Ik reisde alleen, maar was niet alleen. Als mensen zijn die bij jullie klagen, dan komen ze uit een andere wereld, want zo’n zorg voor alle gasten en betrokkenheid bij het maken van een dag planning heb ik nog nooit nergens in een hotel zo vriendelijke zonder eigen gewin meegemaakt Dank ook voor het regelen van mijn vervolg reis, en de beste plek in de trein. Tot gauw.

Heerlijke plek waar we zeker terugkomen als we weer in Yogya zijn. We werden netjes opgehaald van het treinstation en er was goede communicatie. De staff staat altijd voor je klaar en ze bieden leuke tours aan. Het ontbijt is ook erg goed en we hebben iedere avond genoten in het kleine restaurantje speciaal voor de gasten van het verblijf. Nogmaals, bedankt!

De perfecte locatie voor alle mogelijke bezoeken in en rond Yogyakarta. Geweldig team dat je watten legt en waarbij je je de koning ter rijk kunt voelen.

Terrible experience with owner Frans! We have had a nice vacation for the first few days and liked the property and especially the staff, even the owner Frans was nice and accommodating, he even offered himself to buy train tickets out of Yogyakarta in our name, which we accepted and paid for at the end. However, a few days later, we noticed a very aggressive behavior by the Owner towards his staff. He was screaming at them "to use their brains". It was very disturbing, especially having 3 small kids with us. However, that was only the beginning. On the day of our departure, I tried to resolve a double booking issue with him and he went into emotional meltdown and started screaming at me that I should be paying for my own mistakes, how can I be making trouble for 50 EUR, insulting us that we have a wrong mentality and even threatened to destroy our train tickets for which he had to work late at night to book for us (even though he offered that service himself). My wife tried to calm the situation down and she told him that he is scaring our children. The Owner then barged at her as if to physically attack her and at that point his staff intervened and had to physically hold him back. You could see from their reaction that it was not the first time they had to do this. We couldn't believe our eyes and the children started crying. It was an incident that we never before experienced or endured in our lives of travel. This was a gross overreaction to a small issue that could be solved in a perfectly amicable manner and it ended up scarring our whole Yogyakarta experience. When we left we received additional message from the Owner saying that we were ungrateful for the services that he provided and that we should teach our children to honor their agreements. It was disappointing to say the least that he couldn't see his mistake hours after the incident, when he had time to calm down and to think about it. Just a terrible experience.

The owner was so helpful. The bedrooms were really special. The grounds were an oasis of calm. We loved the breakfast.

The staff, how far they are willing to go for you and help you along so that you have a perfect stay. The food was also great, lots of choice. The host Frans is a really friendly guy who wants to help you with anything you need.
