Nice Rorbu. Roomy. Quiet neighborhood. Place to park your car. Great Wifi. Fully equipped kitchen. Clean. In the middle of Lofoten. Could be a little cheaper, but this is Norway. Everything was as I expected.

Property is accurately depicted in the photos. Sund is a very small, non-touristy, fishing village several kilometers off the main the road and lacks amenities such as a cafés or shops, so it wouldn't be a good choice for those who want such immediately to hand. However, I think the isolation is actually a selling point, as there are none of the crowds that throng the more famous villages down the coast, such as Reine or Hamnøy. Views from the deck and picture windows are gorgeous, and the cabins are fully equipped for self-catering. Interacted with staff only via email, but communication and instructions for self-check-in were clear.

Narrow twin beds were not ideal for larger people, such as myself. Also, I didn't use it, but access to the fifth bed in the loft is only by a rather flimsy fixed metal ladder, so wouldn't work for those with mobility issues. Ice cube trays would have been welcome, and the chef's knives in my chalet were in need of sharpening.

The cabin was beautiful and had a great view of the water. It was well equipped with everything we needed. The location was great. Communication with the landlords was easy and clear.
