Leopard Nest in Yala

Wir hatten die Unterkunft gebucht, da sie in der Nähe des Yala-Parks liegt. Schon die Abholung von der Straße mit einem Safari-Jeep war ein echtes Highlight. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht, und das Essen war einfach mega lecker.

The grounds are located in the bush, a bit run down but interesting and unique to be in a treehouse. One or two nights would have been better than the 3 we spent there.

30 minute drive from Yala gate was a bit further than expected, cats in the eating areas (one scratched our son), initially told the all inclusive package would include transportation to and from location but then at the hotel (we didn’t need transport to, only from) informed that because we booked on booking.com, transport not included. Overall felt it wasn’t really great value for the price. Staff was pleasant. Food ok.

You are in the middle of the trees and the staff has always done their best to accommodate my requests and our tight schedule, thank you so much

The place is near nature. Tree house is nice for and good quality. Food was good (breakfast and dinner).

There is problem with ontime transfer - you need hotel assitst fro 4x4 jeep transfer. We had to wait 40min for transfer which we asked for day earlier. The costs of stay are very expensive - 5* hotels are 2x cheaper. Standard accomondation is 10x cheaper in this region.

All the staff here were lovely , really friendly , especially hashan, the guest relations manager , who started the day we got there .

we were really disappointed with the state of the hotel . We were recommended by friends that were there last year and said it was great , but by the time we were there , it was quite run down . I understand its in the jungle and that you don't get the same amenities as a city hotel , but it also calls itself a luxury ecolodge and this just isn't the case . The bathrooms are not clean and the pool was really bad , not clean and nowhere to sit . This wouldn't be as much of a problem if it was cheap , but it isn't, we paid over 250 euros per night .
