Authentique berber Camp & Activities

A small desert camp with tents set up for private dune view. Not in the 'army base camp' way like other often bigger camps in the area. Younes and his brother offer you a tranquil, desert experience that sets you up for soul searching and contemplation. They really respect your space and enter it with great kindness and love! We booked 1 night and stayed 3. We hiked by ourselves through the beautiful dunes of Erg Lihoudi, meditated, watched sunrise, sunsets, stars and surrendered to the desert pace. The silence, the heat, the sand, the (falling) stars and meteorites offer you a place where you can BE. Just BE. Sweet cousin Omar produces the best breakfast (dietary request will be good taken care off), lunch and diner. The tents and the bed are highly comfortable. All facilities are clean and tastefully decorated. A multiple day caravan hiking tour with camels for luggage is there speciality; we look forward in attending that in the future (inshallah!). Our hearts is filled with a treasure because of this experience. So grateful!!

It out stood our expectations. So no remarks. It just lovely!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great communication and excellent service. We arranged a meeting point and followed our host to the camp. We could park right at the camp which was very comfortable. Also worth mentioning was the fun ride through the desert. Excellent diner and breakfast. The tents are far appart, which gives a better feeling of calmness and makes the whole desert experience even more enjoyable. It's nice that the camel riding and entertainment program at the campfire is optional

Younes and Omar made us feel very comfortable and welcome. They are honestly so friendly and hospitable. We really appreciate everything! If you want to go to the desert, spend two nights or more there. Maybe it doesn't seem like it, but the desert is very peaceful and time goes by so fast...

nothing, it’s all perfect

The camp has a unique atmosphere and the tents provide privacy as they are a bit apart from one another. The food was really good. The beds were comfortable and we slept really well. The owner even picked us up in a near by village and drove us to the camp, which was more than welcome as we didn't have a 4x4 car and the road to the camp is not marked on any map. The camp was .lit with lanterns at night which made the place almost magical. I liked this camp more than other camps that I have been to before. Pity we didn't stay for two nights.

I will always come back to this place. The host is such a kind person and all the people there are so helpful. If you are looking for an unmarchable experience in the moroccan desert i can only recommend this place!

Younes amd Rachid were very kind and welcoming. The location was superb. We went into the dunes, which was stunning at sunset. The dinner was very good and we enjoyed some music at the campfire. We were told a what time the sun would come up, so we'd also had a very beautiful sunrise.

A true nomad Berber family living in the desert. We were their guests. 4 Tents only, beautiful and clean, with in the middle a beautiful fireplace. Best tajin we had in Marocco so far in a fantastic ‘restaurant tent’, beautifully decorated. And after dinner a private music show with authentic Berber music. The family really tried to share their way of living.
