The warm welcome, the kindness of the hosts and the fantastic meals, which were bespoke to our dietary needs

Nothing really. Hospital Ryokan faithfully represents life and living in the small rural town of Tsuwano.

this is the best property i stayed at in all my travels in japan on this trip. the owners were hospitable, generous and welcoming. the room was big and i was served a japanese breakfast and dinner which was superb. its location was good too. around the corner from Tsuwano station.

Very clean, very peaceful, the staff were always were up and about wanting to help out with anything! The most loveliest people!

For myself, the bedding needed to be softer but I am a picky sleeper, was overall pretty comfy!
