Beldi camp

This place is an oasis in the dessert. We really enjoyed our stay there. The tents are cosy and comfortable. We loved the common area which was designed with lots of love. The staff was super nice and very friendly. Food was delicious and we enjoyed our stay.

The staff were very welcoming, informative and engaging during our stay. They ensured that we knew what was happening at all times, especially with our transfers and camel ride. The food was delicious and the entertainment a welcome treat.

The camp was well appointed. Just be aware that the camel ride is run independently and to see the sunset you get driven to an area where the camels and and the ride takes you to approx 200 metres from the campsite

Friendly staff, nice camel ride to see the sunset, beautiful decor in the camp. The dinner was one of the best we had in morocco. Like most of these camps, it is not located in the middle of the dunes, but on the edge. Meaning you will only have the view of the dunes on one side of the camp. However, compared to many other camps, it still has a better location because it's not so close to the main street.

The hardest matress I have ever slept on.

Staff is really helpful and friendly. Accommodation was really comfortable, with hot showers and an amazing bed. They also have a fire at night and sing songs, it was really nice. I am vegan and they made an effort to meet my preferences. Plus they have places where you can lay down to check the stars! Strongly recommend it.

Nothing it was overall really great and romantic:)

We chose Beldi camp because we wanted to stay somewhere smaller, quieter and closer to the sand dunes. This was definitely a camp where you can experience the exquisite peace and quiet, moon and stars and the beauty of the dunes. They have 8 tents but because of the earthquake they had quite a few cancellations despite the earthquake not having affected this area at all. For this reason, we had Beldi camp all to ourselves for the first night. Unfortunately, I arrived with a short-lived stomach upset picked up the day before somewhere else and the staff tried hard to help (even making a 2 hour journey to get me some medication) and repeatedly checking in on me and how I was doing. The small team (Ashraf, Ali, Mustapha1 and Mustapha2) were hardworking, friendly and full of Berber smiles and humour. Ali and the Mustaphas did everything (cooking, cleaning, music etc) so well. A big thank you to them. Highly recommend the 4x4 desert tour too.
