I was never at the property because booking.com overbooked the property and I’m waiting to get my money back. No complaints about Arbor Inn and the owner called me as soon as I booked it to let me know that they had no room available. He told me that he would approve a refund because I didn’t stay there. I’m still waiting for my refund from booking.com. I will never use the company again!

Location, staff, pricing

Service is sometimes a thin layer in the USA. Because I booked Marshall in Michigan instead of of Marshall in Minnesota I asked for a free cancellation. The hotel said no and sent me to booking. Booking sent me to the hotel. Yes, service is sometimes a very thin layer over greed.

It was a very comfy room with a good variety of channels on the TV. The staff were friendly and welcoming when I was checked in and I didn't have to wait long for the check in or check out process. The showers and bathrooms were spacious and the room was clean and well lit.

There was no trash can, we could have used some more soap in the bathroom but other then that it was a comfy place to stay. The fridge was also rather noisy. I was disappointed the pool wasn't open so we could go swimming.
