AUVery friendly host, handy with Google Translate. Wonderful traditional Japanese breakfast for only 1,000 Y. Air conditioning was good too. We loved experiencing a traditional ryokan.
The bath was way too hot. I don't know if Japanese are just used to hotter baths than Westerners but I couldn't even keep my foot in it.

PLPerfect location, very kind and helpful hosts, private onsen, spacious room with Mt. Fuji view.
AUThe room was massive, beautiful, and clean. The location was within walking distance to restaurants and cafes, and the beautiful lake.
There is only one bath area and whilst everyone has complete privacy I did end up having to wait a while to use it. I also didn't see a microwave so I don't know if that's provided but I never asked.

This was more like a hostel in terms of facilities. Everything was shared. Toilets and bathrooms were not gender separated, and sometimes, it was necessary to wait for the shower to be free. The room and futons did not smell great.
MYRoom - cozy, futron was nice, slept deeply despite the spring cold at 1 degree celcius Breakfast - remarkable! Delicious & healthy Bathroom - great, heat was working great too.
