Desert Rose Camp

Location is awesome! You need a 4x4 but the fun beginns already getting to the Camp! Staff was very supportive, from the desk, over the staff the restaurant 👌🏼 We booked a driver to go to the dunes and watched the sunset - awesome!

Concerning the fact, that it was already "after season" - it was hot, but that was not a surprise!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Hotel. Besonders gefreut hat uns das kostenlose Zimmer-Upgrade zu Beginn. Der Service war durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit und bei Fragen war immer jemand ansprechbar. Die Anlage und der Poolbereich haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Auch die angebotenen Aktivitäten sind abwechslungsreich. Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr lecker und vielfältig. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Se prima dalla cena vuoi bere o mangiare qualcosa non c’è nulla di aperto e non ti danno niente! Non esiste alcool quindi niente birra o altro. Se ci siete con bambini dovete prende qualcosa con voi!

这是我们在中东/非洲住过最舒适的沙漠营地之一。26年2月（斋月前）入住了一晚，环境优美，食物好吃，服务好。 客房与设施： 幸运地被升级到了 VIP Suite 302。房间空间很大，空调制冷迅速。浴室的水压和热水温度非常好，房间也没有用电限制，能正常使用大功率电吹风。瓶装矿泉水无限供应。Wifi信号有点弱，但手机流量网速不错。房间隔音好，很安静。 地理位置与交通： 营地位于沙漠深处（离镇子约30分钟），像个沙漠绿洲，是一路进去看到的设施最好的营地。我们选择了酒店的接送服务（往返25 OMR），准时且省心。车停在镇上城堡附近，阿曼总体安全，记得和酒店确认来接的司机名字和车牌号。 餐饮： 晚餐和晚餐自助餐主要是中东菜，菜品丰富，好吃。晚餐的羊肉和骆驼肉串现烤现上很惊艳。当地的 Karak tea 好喝，蜜瓜很新鲜很甜。 服务： 退房时不慎将手机忘在了大堂，我们到镇上才发现，老板亲自开车送到了镇上交还给我们。服务非常好。 This was one of the most comfortable desert camps we have stayed at in the Middle East and Africa. We stayed for one night in February 2026 (just before Ramadan); facilities, food and services are all great. Rooms & Facilities We got an upgrade to VIP Suite. The room was very spacious, and the air conditioning cooled down the space quickly. The shower water pressure and temperature were consistent and warm. There were no power restrictions, so we could use our high-power hair dryers without problems. Bottled mineral water was provided in unlimited supply. While the Wi-Fi was a bit weak, the mobile data speeds were quite good. The room was very quiet and peaceful. Location & Transportation The camp is located deep in the desert (about 30 minutes from town) and feels like an oasis. It was easily the best-equipped camp we saw on our way in. We opted for the hotel’s transfer service (25 OMR round trip), which was punctual and hassle-free. Dining Both the breakfast and dinner buffets consisted mainly of Middle Eastern cuisine, with a wide variety of delicious options. The live-grilled lamb and camel skewers at dinner were amazing. The local Karak tea was lovely, and the honeydew melon was fresh and sweet. Service The service was exceptional. After checking out, I accidentally left my phone in the lobby and didn't realise it until we reached the town. The owner personally drove all the way to hand it back to us. Truly outstanding hospitality!

房间内带有金属装饰的家具（沙发靠背、茶几等）很有当地特色美观，但容易剐蹭衣物，建议入住时稍微留意。 The furniture, featuring local metallic accents on the sofa backrests and coffee tables, was beautiful and authentic. However, the metal edges can be a bit sharp and may snag or scratch clothing, so do be a little careful.
