The location was perfect for us as were travelling to my sisters funeral service/ celebration of life which was held in Titahi bay nearby. We lived in Whitby before we moved to the South Island 30 years ago, so it was awesome to be able to catch up with the family & some of our friends from way back. I will recommend Belmont lodge to other people now.

We were very Happy with the service from the staff. The only thing we found really annoying was the noisy fan in the bathroom when someone went in there.

I liked that we were handy to public transport

Furniture was tired couch small enough for two very small people not big enough for us kiwis I expected more as it was $250 a night
