Romantic Escape in Downtown St Augustine

We were moved to a bigger boat and that was great.

Not great for winter vacation. Probably fantastic in better weather. No issue with the boat itself.

The boat was not as nice as the pictures it was small old and falling apart

The bathroom was impossible to use. The front of the boat didnt drain so you were constantly stepping in water. The windows had no curtains so you were blinded when the sun came up.

There was no information as to where breakfast could be? We finally found a place.

The boat was run down. A large hole in the floor. The outside was filthy. The inside was relatively clean but you can't clean things that are outdated and used up. The toilet overflowed. We didn't go no.2 in it as advised. We believe the holding tank was full and should have been emptied. The mattress was wet and the foam material just compressed to the wood deck underneath. The poor old folks like us that traveled far to rent a vessel next to us had to walk away. It was so filthy and the electric didn't work. They told us there were dirty cloths strewn about the cabin area. We offered them our boat but they refused. As our luck had it, it rained, and all of the food trucks closed down. The manager stated she would be available if any questions were needed to be answered. We got her voice mail only with no reply. This property should not be allowed on line. It's misrepresentation in the worst way. We believe a homeless person left the vessel next to us in the mess that was found. A refund should be granted at the least for compensation. The vessel we stayed on is ready to be condemned.

This was something different for us to spend the night in St. Augustine. The sailboat was clean and easily accessible. The owners kept up with many (needed) details and great communication.

It was smaller than expected, but accommodating.

Location is great, very convenient to get around town and to the beach. Also was fun and different than a basic hotel. Area felt safe.

Boat did not look as maintained as it did in the pictures. We found multiple screws laying around that were falling out of the walls and main door. The Bimini top was not screwed into the boat well. The main door does not secure well when staying inside the boat. The latch that holds the pad lock fell and stuck while we were inside so we had to crawl out of the hatch to open the door. The a/c worked great the first night, but the second night we slept outside because it was colder. Water was dripping from under the inside steps onto the bed underneath. Other wise we had a fabulous time and would definitely say on a boat again.
