Water Blow Huts

The view was priceless, whether watching a lightning storm in the distance or taking in the blue skies and sunshine. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our room was light and airy, the bed and sheets were really comfy. The pool was gorgeous and the stools at the end of the pool were awesome to sit and enjoy in the water. The scooters were great to hire also.

Super uitzicht. Kamers basic.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and stressful. During my stay, I became seriously unwell overnight with vomiting, diarrhoea, severe stomach cramps, dehydration and migraine symptoms after eating food at the hotel. While it may not be possible to medically prove the exact source, I was very upset by the response from staff, who were defensive and dismissive rather than showing empathy or concern while I was alone and ill in a foreign country. I felt as though I was being treated like I was lying rather than supported as a guest. The illness caused me to cancel and reorganise multiple trips and travel plans, resulting in additional stress and financial loss during my holiday. There were also several other issues throughout my stay. I booked and paid for a 1.5-hour massage but only received around 1 hour and 15 minutes. During the treatment, the masseuse was using her phone for part of the massage and I felt uncomfortable afterwards due to comments made when I did not leave a tip. The hotel also advertises yoga and spa facilities/services which were not actually available during my stay. In addition, I found the customer service lacking overall, and the location was inconvenient unless paying inflated prices for hotel-arranged transport and private tours, which were significantly more expensive than comparable local options. I understand that travel experiences are not always perfect, but what disappointed me most was the lack of professionalism, care and accountability when concerns were raised.

De ligging van het complex met een prachtig uitzicht over de oceaan. De huisjes waren romantisch in het wit ingericht. Wel niet heel groot. De koffers schoven wij geopend onder het bed. Wij vonden het geen probleem dat de badkamer zich buiten bevond.

De weg van en naar het complex is ronduit gezegd verschrikkelijk.
