Mimpi Cottages

Definitely a place to feel at home. Good location, clean rooms, and well-maintained grounds. The breakfast and food at the restaurant are also highly recommended. The family is very friendly and helped us with everything. Laundry, shops, warungs and the beach are all within easy walking distance—we felt very comfortable and can definitely recommend Mimpi Cottages. Thank you, dear Mimpi family.

Really friendly staff!! It’s a family business and that gives a very nice vibe. The location on the island is incredible: super close to two beautiful beaches and a lot of restaurants. The area is very peaceful and quiet. Good restaurant on the property and the pool is finished!

Some gecko droppings decorated the room but that’s part of the experience in these leafy-roof cottages.

Super nice staff and an amazing location. About a 5-10 min walk to both dream beach and secret beach, and easy to rent scooter from Mimpi that cost us 80k a day. They are building a swimmingpool, which looks to be done rather soon. They worked on it from 8-15, but it was pretty quiet and did not bother us! The food was great.

We paid for including breakfast, and got a separate breakfast-menu which was a bit lacking in choices. I would recommend to not include breakfast, but rather pay when you are there.

They were nice enough but the reality was they shouldn’t be accepting bookings while under construction and having power issues.

I do not recommend staying here. When I arrived, the property was under active construction, which was not disclosed in the booking description. On top of that, there were major electricity issues, they use a "pay-by-use" system for power, and the credit ran out twice during my stay, once leaving me without power at 2 AM. It was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I booked expecting a normal stay with working utilities, but the reality was very different. I ended up requesting a full refund due to the ongoing construction and unreliable electricity.

Very peaceful and quiet, had a great night at this accomodation. I found it great that they had a mosquito repellent plug, paired with the mosquito net you won’t get annoyed by the mosquitos. The bathroom is also very nice and clean.

We had a couple of rat encounters! Overall it was a lovely setting with a comfortable room. Staff were very friendly.
