Mimpi Cottages

Great location - 10 min walk from dream beach and 15 from devils tear, loads of restaurants on the doorstep. Really spacious room and bathroom which was cleaned every day. The bed was super comfy as well. Beautiful garden and terrace- feels very peaceful.

The only comment we had was that we weren’t 100% sure who was in charge or who to ask if we had any issues. Apart from the number given in the booking, we didn’t really have any contact with any manager or owner.

Beautiful garden, lovely cottage, with onsite restuarant. Very close to beaches and easy to rent motorcycle. Can hear the sea at night. I'd recommend booking the fast boat through them as it includes drop off to the accommodation, taxi prices on island are very high otherwise.

Cottage was a little dark as some light bulbs weren't working. Heard some rat scuttling at night and saw poison under the bed - to be expected in rural places.

The hosts were friendly, kind, and attentive. The room was huge, clean, and comfortable. The location was great, 5 minutes from the beach and central to the island so walking everywhere was possible. We were able to check in early and the welcome drink was the best we’ve had. Good value for the location, cleanliness, and host attention.

There were 2 big misunderstandings: - our booking invoice read that our credit card would be charged prior to arrival. When we got in, we were told cash only payment. Which was a big issue for us, it was the end of our trip/ we had already budgeted and exchanged all of our cash. Having to pay cash for our reservation took 80% of our food budget and we were stuck eating packaged ramen for the last few days. - we tried to book an airport transport from the stay to the airport. It wasn’t clear how to do that or how to pay. We feel bad for the situation because we don’t speak the language of the country we’re in and there was confusion. Our main responsibility was to catch our flight so we found our own way. - we were in the room closest to the beautiful cafe and it was quite loud. From 17:00 - 22:30 the diners and the music kept us up or woke us up. If you are not an early sleeper you won’t mind. - the address listed on booking didn’t work for us, it took us to dream beach proper. You want to input Clasico bar and coffee shop for an accurate destination.

The rooms are very nice and clean and the bed is extremely confortable. They also have a restaurant at the front and everything we’ve tried was amazing. Good value for money!

No hot water and no pressure in the shower. Sometimes no water at all. So really bad shower, but the rest was great! Would stay here again and would recommend the place.

This was by far my favorite stay in my entire Indonesia trip. The hosts made me feel like family and the room is BEAUTIFUL! Do not miss out on this hidden gem, just a five minute walk from Dream Beach and Devil’s Tears Bay. The restaurant at the front is delicious and I had the best latte on the island here! Just simply amazing all around.
