Great little place in the middle of Big Sur. Prime location, nice patio. Solid restaurant.

Rooms were a little small. Definitely a bit expensive for what you get, but that’s kind of how the area is.

The hot tub was so nice, a lil outdated but it fit the vibe

What I loved most was the peaceful, great-smelling natural setting surrounding the property. The charming cottage-core landscaping, picturesque lazy river, and spacious motel rooms made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Everything was great overall. The only minor improvement I could suggest would be opening the general store a bit earlier or offering a small morning coffee stand with grab-and-go items like granola bars near the entrance. That said, the rooms are equipped with coffee, so this was not a significant issue and did not detract from an otherwise excellent stay.
