Glamping Alcantara

Clean, beautiful location, good facilities

The whole place is beautiful, a huge complex combining lodging, dining, adventure, sightseeing, relaxing, swimming and more together. Highly recommend this place. Thumbs up.

Amazing location, just the water was temperamental and ran out of gas but was quick to bring gas again.

The cot doesn't fit in the main room which is an issue with a new born

A difference experience since accommodation is in a tent, but with facilities. Very peaceful and surrounded by nature. Tent was equipped with kitchen, fridge, cooker and even a bbq. A couple of minutes away to the Gole d Alcantara. Ideal to spend some time in nature.

The site is lovely, beautiful views, lovely walks and the little splash park is great for the kids and great fun. The gorge and river is superb, very much worth a visit, and during the day there are a lot of activities. The tents were great, very comfortable and very clean. very beautiful area and a lot of room for children to run around.

The glamping is part of a larger complex, so check in at the main activity site which is a little confusing. The restaurants / bar close at 6pm along with the splash park so evenings are very quiet. There is not much in the area if you want to eat out, so you do need to prepare and everything shuts at the weekend. Charges for a lift down to the gorge was a bit much considering we were staying at the park and the restaurant during the day is very expensive for the area
