Drift View Shepherds Hut

Love how Drift View feels as though it’s actually tucked into the countryside. Everything is so comfortable and welcoming.

It was very well equipped for a short stay. The view was wonderful and the host had thought of everything, even chicken feed for afternoon visitors to the garden. The position of the hut was fabulous, offering privacy with a wonderful view. The bed linen was some of the softest I have ever slept in. We had a wonderful stay in this small but perfectly formed shepherds hut.

The whole experience was wonderful. The Shepherds hut was very cute and comfortable and the views were spectacular. A gorgeous part of the country. Made very welcome by Tess, Tom and Joanne. Would definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved this Shepherds Hut, the views were stunning, the place was spotless, the bed was so comfortable, the host Tess couldn’t do enough for you even leaving a chocolate brownie for when we arrived! You don’t need to take anything with you as it is all here. Tess even showed us the new born lambs which was very special! We will definitely return to Drift View!

NA everything was perfect

We loved the tranquillity, the wonderful views, the location of the hut, with its own hen house. Sited on a farm, it was lovely hearing the animals. We were supplied with complimentary essentials,such as milk, butter,bread, and fresh eggs and homemade cake. We were able to relax and come and go as we pleased. The bed was very comfy. The Shepherds hut was very clean with all mod cons. It was a very short car journey to Melton Mowbray, and we enjoyed the Tues market and a good day out at Gates Garden Centre, which wasn't too far away.

Lovely location with unspoilt views across fields. Our own private space apart from the occasional visit from the chickens, who kindly supplied fresh eggs if we wanted them.
