Placid Waters Holiday Apartments

Great location, clean and tidy, quite. A good place to relax and recharge.

Hot water situation there is not enough for a full family to be able to shower.

Close to shops for convenience.

The pool was cold despite being advertised as heated. The internet was extremely slow. The neighbors on their deck were smoking and had to keep our doors closed as stunk us out. Annette working on the reception was utterly rude when asking for a later check in instead of the hours between 2pm and 4pm then argued we were driving an SUV when it was a sedan withouut her viewing our car to fit in their basin.

The building was lovely though slightly dated and close to everything.

Apartment 18 the dust on the TV Box was thick but the worst was the bedside table as shown on photo's and I used my little finger nail to write on the dirty top. I have a video of trying to clean it but would not upload. Washed the dishes in the dishwasher and they came out worst as they had rust covering the plates and coffee cups. The lounge suite needs to be dumped and the pillows were sweat smelly but these are individual owned so the managers may have nothing to do with the managers.

The location was good for what we went there for, we could walk to the RSL and cafes

The couple of run the place are not organised and confusing with their check in rules for weekends. The lady is incredibly rude and not helpful in any way around ensuring check in is smooth. The apartment was also not the cleanest, my kids found several items from other people around the beds and in the living room and the kitchen utensils had to be cleaned before use. The wifi was also fairly sketchy in our apartment and some of the fans and lights did not work.

The location was perfect. Pumice stone Passage was directly across the road from us and the Sunday Markets could be seen from our balcony.

Next time I'll make sure to book an apartment on the 1st or 2nd floor. Climbing the stairs to the 3rd floor was a bit too much for my 72 year old legs.
