Aran Islands Camping & Glamping

Had a great few days here! Location is fabulous, literally across the road from the beach! & not far from the village. We stayed in pod, they are small/compact, absolutely fine for a few days & if mainly out & about. Bed was comfy, our weather was mixed but the pod was never cold, in fact really cosy. Staff all lovely too, very friendly & helpful.

Nothing to not like!

The staff, the location, the hot shower and the sauna. The staff was welcoming, the location was convenient, the shower was hot and the sauna was a lovely bonus.

The lack of storage space and fridge. The space is well organised but too small really for four people (we were lucky we were only three). There is hardly any space to store your belongings. It would be nice to have more shelves or hooks. There is a wine cooler but a mini fridge would have been more useful to us.

The unit was clean enough although there were quite a few hairs of varying types/lengths in the bathroom.

I was unfortunate to be in the pod closest to reception and the taxi drop off/pickup area. The noise of everyone coming and going to the pub kept me awake until 2.30am by which time I found it hard to sleep at all. I asked to me moved but was told that no alternative was possible for my second nights stay.

Location can’t be beat. Inis Mor is absolutely beautiful. The pods are basically right on the beach, just steps to the sand. The island is great to explore, but truly special after the last ferry heads back to “the mainland”. Staff is really friendly, pods were clean, showers worked well.

Beds were not the most comfortable, but it is glamping, not a luxury hotel.

Great experience to be right on the beach.

Location was amazing, the view was stunning! The pods were equipped so well and were super cosy!

This isn't a bad things but just the days we were there it was extremely warm, the pods retain alot of heat and it was hard to cool them down. Again not a bad thing given Ireland wouldn't be known for being hot. Something really tiny was wish the kitchen area was open abit later, we arrived back at 9pm one evening and just wanted to grab some tea bags for the morning as we were leaving early but the kitchen area was closed.

Loved it . So convenient and relaxing.
