Stunning location by the lake. Extremely friendly and helpful owner

Stayed here to attend a wedding at Gosfield Hall, which is a very short walk away. We only booked it last minute and couldn’t believe it was available given the location. The room was very spacious and comfortable, loved that there fresh milk to make tea and coffee with as well as a basket of cereals for breakfast. Self check-in was super easy, and hosts were quick to reply to messages. Views of the lake the next day were fab!

It was a little chilly but it was cold outside and once the radiator was cranked up it did improve.

The place was lovely a very relaxing stay.

The owner sent detailed instructions about access through a gated barrier and into the room and was available on arrival to open up the room, which was large, light and airy with a kitchenette, kettle, microwave and fridge containing a bottle of milk and cold water. Lovely bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. Plenty of thick, fluffy towels. Very comfortable bed and a sofa, table and chairs. . Good level of heating which could be adjusted and a ceiling fan which would be useful in summer. And an absolutely beautiful view of the lake which sadly had disappeared from view in the mist in the morning. Everything was spotlessly clean and I can highly recommend this accommodation. I would definitely return.
