Parkgate Farm

Great location and accommodation, very comfy!

Issues with vehicles. It says reservation is not required but I recommend sorting parking before arrival. Especially if you have a van. Never been accused of potentially emptying a house into a van before.

Viewing, garden and quiet around plus donkeys

The location was beautiful, with views of the mountains. Ideally based for Wastwater and Scafell Pike, as well as only 15 minutes from the coast. Make sure to bring supplies as there aren't a lot of shops around for groceries! We used the Seascale Co-op and Eskdale store which had the basics. Plenty of walks around Parkgate farm which don't involve driving - we walked up Irton Pike (after getting lost!) The caravan itself was spacious and clean, wi-fi was great as otherwise there's no phone signal.

Beautiful location and campsite

Beautiful countryside, 20 min drive to scafell pike, lake, sea and rivers close for wild swimming within 10 mins.

Tolle Unterkunft mit großer Terrasse. Das Auto lässt sich direkt neben dem Eingang parken. Direkt neben der Unterkunft war eine Wiese mit Eseln, was für kleine Kinder ein Traum ist. Der Blick ist aus der Unterkunft ist herrlich.

Die Ausstattung in der Küche könnte etwas üppiger und komfortabler sein.

Lovely site in a beautiful setting. The caravan was modern and to a high standard. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Lovely Mountain View’s with a donkey field which you are free to walk in 100yards from the property. We were lucky to have the fighter jets fly over on their training runs a couple of times during our stay which was a real highlight.
