The food servings are huge, the bathrooms clean and well-stocked, the scenery amazing, but most importantly, the people who work here are fantastic. Ali really felt like a buddy. I took an overnight bus from Fes to Merzouga and he arranged for me to be picked up despite the early hour, and he also found a spot for me in a tour minibus to be dropped off in Ouarzazate. As a solo female traveler, it’s extremely important to feel safe and comfortable, and I definitely did here.
